Performance Basis

How a figure would get onto this site, what rules it would be entered under, and what it could never tell a buyer. Myfxbook pages are the only source; today none is published.

§1

Transcription rules

§1.1
One source, and the desk keeps no second: a ledger cell is filled from the public Myfxbook page of the strategy's audit account, or it is left to read not published.
§1.2
A ledger value is copied from the page as printed, with its sign. Nothing is annualised, averaged, extrapolated or rounded towards the flattering side.
§1.3
Every value carries the date it was read. From that date on, the live page is authoritative and the ledger is a dated copy of it.
§1.4
Whatever the publisher leaves out, the ledger leaves out: the cell reads not published, is never left blank, and is never completed from a second source.
§1.5
Paired figures. A gain reaches the ledger only in company with the worst loss the same page reports, read at the same size in the same sitting. A publisher page carrying no loss figure empties both cells, not one.
§2

Position at the review date

§2.1
Every ledger on this site is empty: no strategy has an audited account with a public page yet, so the site prints no return, no drawdown and no trade count anywhere. A figure that does not exist cannot be sourced, and this document describes what will happen when one does.
§3

What a ledger entry is not

§3.1
Not a customer's account. Every account on the register is the desk's own.
§3.2
Not typical. One account, one broker, one size, one stretch of dates; there is no population of buyers behind it.
§3.3
Not a projection. It records what a period that has already closed produced, at settings and in conditions that will not be repeated.
§3.4
Not a backtest. The site carries no tester output, no simulated curve and no modelled equity, and does not supply them on request.
§3.5
Not a figure your own account would have printed. Read the table across: the variable on the left, what it does to the number on the right. Any one row is enough to move the result; you will meet all five.
§3.6
Variables between a ledger figure and a reader’s own result
variableeffect on the number
broker termsA different spread, a different commission, a different swap and a different fill speed. The same decision settles at a different price than the ledger recorded.
account shapeA different size, currency and leverage. The same signal sizes a different position, and the percentage beside it moves with it.
dates heldYou begin on a day of your choosing and may stop on another, so you live through a slice of the model's history that no ledger row covers.
settings runAn input set away from the licensed profile, or a different grade of the same strategy, is a different build's behaviour on the same chart.
the market metThe weeks ahead of you are not the weeks behind the entry. Nothing obliges them to resemble each other.

§3.7
And the figure is gross before any of that begins: a Myfxbook number carries the desk's own trading costs and nothing else. Your net result also carries the licence price, your broker's spread and commission, any slippage on your fills and the tax due in your country. Every one of those lowers it.

§5

The ledger mechanism

§5.1
Each strategy is assigned one trading account, run by the desk. Its page is hosted by Myfxbook, whose only relationship with the desk is publishing that page.
§5.2
The figures on the page are read from the broker account by Myfxbook's own connector and refreshed by Myfxbook on its own schedule. The desk has no field to type into and no switch to hide a bad week.
§5.3
2 accounts are registered, one per strategy; every grade of a strategy shares that strategy's account, since grades change what a build controls, not what it is supposed to earn.
§5.4
A page that requires registration or a login to view is not an audit page for the purposes of this site and will not be linked.
§6

Corrections, and claims the desk has not made

§6.1
A ledger entry that disagrees with its page is corrected or removed as soon as the desk is told. Point one out to [email protected] with the strategy id and the value in question.
§6.2
Algo Flexs makes no statement about the income or profit a buyer will earn, and has authorised nobody to make one. A person quoting such a figure in the desk’s name is not speaking for the desk; forward the message to [email protected].

Read together with the exposure notice (CD-04). A buyer who reads a ledger as a promise should not execute a fill.
